Chronic alcohol abuse can also lead to damage to the central nervous system and peripheral nervous system. Although, not leaving other organs immune to damage. In the past, Doctors have promoted alcohol for its health benefits and most recently have said that moderate daily consumption of alcohol can aid in the protection against Coronary Heart Disease.
